Coach have you run outside veer?
Coach, we put it in this year, but didn’t have a ton of success with it or run it a whole lot. I didn’t feel like the angle lined up well with our pistol set. Any thoughts or advice welcome on OV!
One thing that I have done in the past.. running O.V. To a TE or to a slot is run the FB at his regular IV path and when he gets the ball… he “Y” outs 2 steps then continues on his veer path… NOT as effective as split veer OV…. Also have run the OV with the same path as belly …. The QB just has to make sure and get out there on a straight line…. Actually your “ belly” IS OSV with a “G” block
REMEMBER… KISS….keep it SIMPLE Stupid!!!… we don’t need to add things that “muddle” the process. JUST my observation
Great series….This scheme is similar to stillman valley coach mike lalor and Unity high with scott hamilton
This is a great clinic! One of the best I’ve seen on this site.
