I’m really confused as to why you don’t scrape exchange (tag call) the read plays in Razor. You’d be stealing a Gap and of course it’s not something you’ll have to do every time. If you don’t scrape exchange who is the force player or who is the Rush spilling the play to if there is some sort of bubble or action to the rush side. If you have the ILB play A you’re down a gap. If teams run Read and fold the H Back or KO the Rush, either way, you’ll be down. This technique makes a lot of sense against teams that run Read and Arc with the H Back.
There is also the option of long sticking the Tackle to the side of the blitz which provides the natural Gap exchange while still maintaining integrity if teams want to run a kick out scheme.
I really love the concepts and verbiage. It’s a little weird how similar we structure a lot of our stuff. Thanks for taking the time.
